What is a Boom Truck?

Boom trucks typically consist of a commercial truck chassis with a rotating, telescopic boom crane mounted to the back.  They are great for maneuverability around job sites as they are smaller and drive like regular trucks. Unlike cranes, boom trucks do not utilize separate counterweights. With boom trucks, operators are able to lift cargo with precision and accuracy.

As no two jobs are the same, at Bryant Industrial Crane & Rigging we have multiple boom trucks to choose from to suit different sized jobs and different needs. Contact us today to for boom truck service or to find out if a boom truck is right for your job.

What is a Crane?

Cranes are more stable than boom trucks and are typically used for larger jobs. While often still mobile, they are larger and less maneuverable than boom trucks due to their size. Cranes utilize chains, cables and ropes along with a winder to move heavy materials.
